Vessel Traffic Management
Vessel Traffic Management
Our sales team will assess your requirements and provide you with a solution that works for you. We will provide you professional AIS presentation software to help you manage vessel traffic by utilizing existing AIS infrastructure, such as AIS Base Station, or AIS Receiver, or AISLive online AIS data.
For customers who require web access to the current vessel traffic situation, our professional tailored software allows you to view the vessel traffic in any area by sending information obtained from the website feed to units anywhere in the world. DataSwitch collects information received from our AIS Software and allows you to filter information, log the data for playback at a later time, and send all or some of the information to remote clients
The Solutions include:
Complete View of Vessel Traffic
Our vessel management solution designed for vessel traffic and monitoring centres. It is the cornerstone of AIS suite of products and has been proven to increase the safety, security and efficiency of operations within a port.
We provide a complete AIS interface that includes the ability to view and track all vessels, display specific vessel information, and send and receive safety related and text messages. The interface and display of AIS related information offers port operators a substantial leap forward in their ability to communicate and interact with sea-based vessels. Since our software is fully configurable, operators can adjust the display of information panels, customize colour patterns for AIS targets, and set entry and exit alarms specific to each user. Operators can also use our multiple fixed view option to toggle between screens and monitor several areas or display various activities within the port.
The traffic density analysis is a powerful tool for analyzing traffic patterns in an area. (See the example to the right).
The tool analyses the traffic in the chosen area and colours the map depending on the amount of traffic. The density of the traffic in a specified area is displayed in colours, meaning the denser the traffic, the darker the colour will be. The traffic analysis configuration can show a specific time period, type of ship or country of origin etc.
Passage Line Statistics
Passage line statistics can be generated by the Web Statistics Module showing the number of ships passing a given line, grouping them according to user defined criteria (draught, ship type, speed, country registered etc).
Historical Track Statistics
Historical track statistics can be used to analyze how the ships have traveled in a specified area. Tracks can be coloured according to selected criteria, e.g. direction, speed, draught etc. The statistics can for example be used to identify vessels violating traffic separation schemes laid out by marine authorities.
On top, we also provide solutions for
- Port authorities Vessel traffic management, monitoring and surveillance
- Marine Administrations and Coast Guards – Search and Rescue (SAR), Buoy Tendering, Vessel Traffic Service, Coastal Surveillance, Dredging & Hydrographic Surveying, etc.
- Shipowners and managers,
