Designed and manufactured by AMI Marine (UK), KW810 BNWAS conforms with the requirements of the MSC Resolution 128(75) on Performance Standards adopted by the IMO, which made it a mandatory equipment to be fitted on all types of vessels as per implementation deadlines listed below, and should remain operational at all times whilst the vessel is at sea.

  • KW810 BNWAS is the UK Type Approved.

  • KW 810 BNWAS automatically monitors bridge activity via a motion sensor and is the only one of its kind to trigger an alarm on a FOUR-STAGE BASIS:? Local (Officer on Watch bridge), Remote (Captain’s cabin), General (ship borne alarm), SSAS (ship’s operator).

  • KW 810 BNWAS is the only alarm system which incorporates TWO OPERATIONAL MODES – Manual, i.e. requiring the Officer on Watch (OOW) to press a button at a preset interval, and Autosensoring, i.e. detecting movements of the OOW on the bridge. In both cases the KW810 will send an alarm should the requirements be not fulfilled.
